Conflict Minerals

Responsible Procurement of Minerals (Conflict Minerals)

We believe that it is our corporate social responsibility to address the issue of conflict minerals (3TG*1), which are illegally exploited and extracted, and which are causing human rights abuses and labor issues. We are committed to eliminating the use of materials that derive from such minerals and parts and components that contain them.
In accordance with this policy, with reference to the OECD’s*2 “Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas,” we conduct surveys on conflict minerals using CMRT.*3

*1 3TG: Tantalum, tin, tungsten, gold
*2 OECD: Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
*3 CMRT: Conflict Minerals Reporting Template. Survey template for reporting conflict minerals provided by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), which establishes international guidelines on conflict minerals
